Tara Marsh

Location:Glass Studio

Tara was born and raised in rural Ontario, instilling in her a love for the outdoors and nature.  Her success in the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, Art Fundamentals program encouraged her curiosity in the exploration of a new art form in the Glass Studio. After completing three years in the glass program at Sheridan College in 2004, Tara joined a co-operative studio called Glen Williams Glass.

Tara Marsh is a glass artist whose work ranges from blown goblets and sculptural component work, to large sand castings and intricate flame-worked glass jewellery.  Textures, colours and nature often serve as her inspiration in designing unique pieces that demonstrate a love of the intricate characteristics of glass.

Tara's pieces are sold through her studio at the Williams Mill, galleries in the Toronto area, Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery and British Columbia's West End Gallery. Completing her diploma and certificate programs over four years of training in glass studio at Oakville's Sheridan College, Tara has attended numerous workshops at Sheridan College since graduating in 2004.

Past exhibitions include The Cup Show in Toronto, The Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, Canadian Glass Show, and Toronto's One of a Kind Craft Show, among many others.
