Margaret Peter

Painter and Printmaker

Margaret Peter is a Guelph painter and original printmaker whose love of the land is reflected in her floral, landscape, and printmaking images. She is a graduate of Windsor Teachers’ College and the University of Guelph. She is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and the Ontario Society of Artists. 

Margaret taught printmaking at Wilfrid Laurier University from 1988-2006. 

Her landscapes focus on big skies and her abstracts show her love of developing layers of colour that draw the viewer into the depths.
