Lisa Knie

Lisa Knie is a self-taught Abstract artist who discovered painting as a form of expression during the early days of the Pandemic. Art gave her a voice when words failed. Today, she boldly embrace risk and paint to explore a deeper connection to myself and those around me.

Lisa paints intuitively, exploring what it means to be vulnerable – to have others see and possibly judge her – as well serve as an expression for what she feels, rather than what she sees. She uses acrylic paint and mixed media to make her expressive marks and art works.

Lisa’s work has been sold locally, as well as internationally.
